DELIVERY TIMES (These are our guaranteed delivery* times)
Over the past 2 years we have had some issues with delivery of personalised wedding fans, this has been due solely to the increasingly high demand for the product and the fact that all our personalised fans are a real labour or love, bespoke and handmade to order. We treat every order as if it were for our own wedding and NEVER have we missed a wedding, even when working to the tightest deadline. We’ve ensured all orders are delivered on time and in perfect condition, even to the other side of the world!
As all our brides will tell you, the fans are stunning, unique, well worth the wait and a beautiful addition to any wedding. We understand that arranging a wedding is a stressful time and as such we have committed ourselves to the following GUARANTEED delivery times. (If you are working to a tighter deadline and need your order in a few days, please contact me by phone on 0113 443 4894 to discuss further. - Plain fans: 24-48 hrs (depending on the day & time of ordering)
- Create Your Own Fans™: 2-4 days(express handling) 5-10 days(normal delivery)
- Personalised Wedding fans: 7-14 days (Please see T & C’s)
* Delivery times are in expected working days (Mon – Fri only).
- Express Handling (orders must be received by 2pm Mon, Tue, (closed Wed), Thurs & Fri) delivery within 3 working days from the day you place your order.
- Standard delivery 4 – 5 working days (within 4 – 7 working days from the day you place your order* *during peak periods of trade)
- Personalised wedding fans – expect delivery within 7-14 days, depending on how busy we are. During peak times we reserve the right to send your order 14 days prior to the date of the wedding, unless otherwise agreed with customer.
- Same Day Delivery can be arranged but is subject to certain conditions and is charged at a premium. Please contact us direct for further details.
- We use Royal Mail First Class postal service on all our standard deliveries and actual delivery could vary.
- Please note: A signature may be required upon delivery and deliveries are made any time during the day up to 5.30pm, customers must ensure that there is someone in to receive the delivery as the order will be returned to the postal depot otherwise. Should you miss the delivery and the order is returned to the postal depot, fanfairUk has fulfilled its delivery obligation and is not in breach of Terms and Conditions when the order has failed to be delivered due to no response at the given delivery address. Packages WILL NOT be left outside the property or with a neighbour.
- It then becomes the recipient’s responsibility to contact the relevant delivery company to arrange a suitable re-delivery date. We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available. We therefore recommend sending your order to a work address if appropriate. All deliveries are made on normal working days (Mon-Fri).
- All orders are packaged to the highest levels to ensure that they are not damaged on arrival. All packages leave fanfairUk in perfect condition, however should the contents of your order be damaged due to negligence by the Royal Mail, please contact us direct at our Customer Services on 0113 443 4894. You must also contact Royal Mail directly with your complaint and follow procedure with them where necessary taking the damaged goods to your local depot.
- Should you be unsatisfied with the goods you have purchased we will refund the cost of the order, minus any P&P, POSTAL INSURANCE AND ADMINISTRATION costs (YOU, the customer are liable for any P&P, POSTAL INSURANCE AND ADMINISTRATION costs incurred by returning your unwanted order.)
- Refunds will only be given for orders of PLAIN COLOURED FANS only. Refunds WILL NOT BE GIVEN ON PLAIN WEDDING FANS OR PERSONALISED PRODUCTS OF ANY DESCRIPTION, as these are bespoke items as requested and paid for by YOU the customer. Refunds are given on orders of plain coloured fans only that are received undamaged and in the original condition in which they were sent. Any damaged stock shall be deduction from the total cost, minus any charges, of your refund.
- ‘CREATE YOUR OWN FAN’ and VINYL & DIRECT PRINTING SERVICES are exempt from any returns policy and the customer enters into a bespoke, no return policy on confirmation of your order and receipt of your deposit.
DEPOSITS
- All orders for DIRECT & VINYL PRINTING™ are subject to receipt of a 50% deposit at time of ordering, on all expected deliveries of more than 14 days. Delivery dates of less than 14 days, PAYMENT IS TO BE IN FULL at time of ordering.
- We hold all products you see on our site in stock. Where we are out of stock of your chosen product, we will contact you to discuss possible alternatives.
CONDITIONS OF SALE/TERMS & CONDITIONS
All orders are subject to the following terms and conditions. These shall form part of any contract concluded between fanfairUK and YOU the customer/buyer.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
GENERAL
A binding contract for the sale of all products will be created upon a communication being sent by fanfairUK to the buyer confirming acceptance of the buyer’s order and upon no other event. ‘Acceptance’ shall for the avoidance of doubt be at the time the communication is ‘sent’ by fanfairUK.
The completion of an order form and payment for the products shall be deemed conclusive evidence that the buyer agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale/Terms & Conditions.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The use of any product should be supervised at all times by an adult. The buyer shall be responsible for ensuing that all statutory, government or local authority regulations are complied with in relation to the use of any products purchased from fanfairUK.
CHANGES IN SPECIFICATION
fanfairUK reserves the right to make changes at any time and without notice in the materials, dimensions, colours and design of its products and such changes shall not affect the validity of any contract with the buyer provided that such variations and modification do not adversely affect in any material way the performance of the products or the quality of workmanship or of materials used. Where there has been a material change to any product ordered by the buyer, fanfairUK will endeavour to supply the buyer with a product that is identical to that ordered or a product that is as far as is possible similar to that ordered.
The buyer has the option to accept or decline any replacement with a full refund given if any replacement is unacceptable.
PRICES
The price of products confirmed at the point of purchase will remain fixed during the transaction.
All prices quoted on the site are subject to alterations without notice to take account of fluctuations in the cost of labour and materials and of alterations in rates of exchange and import duty which may occur it the course of manufacturing the products. All prices quoted include sales tax/VAT.
fanfairUK shall be entitled to adjust the price to take account of any delay on the part of the buyer in supplying information required to complete his order or of any alteration made by the buyer to the specifications or other information supplied by the buyer.
TRADEMARKS
The buyer may not at any time alter or deface any trademarks identified on the products with the intention of attaching or juxtaposing another trade mark, unless the buyer is in receipt of fanfairUK’s express prior permission in writing.
ALL our fans are branded with our company details logo/website address, this is always on the back of the fan and hidden within the folds of the fan.
COPYRIGHT
The copyright in any design or any technical processes used in creating any of our products, presentation, packaging and/or literature in connection with the products shall remain the property of the owner of that copyright and no right or licence (except as to the use for which the products are supplied) shall be granted hereby whether express or implied.
IMPORT LICENCE
Where applicable the buyer will be responsible for obtaining an import licence and for ensuring compliance with all regulations governing the admission of the products into the country of delivery.
EXPORT LICENCES
Where products are to be exported to countries that require an export licence, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer whether by himself or by an export agent instructed by the buyer to obtain all necessary clearance/s. fanfairUK cannot provide replacement products or refunds in the event of export licences being refused. The buyer is also responsible to all charges related to receiving these goods in accordance with that countries import/export fees and requirements. fanfairUk is not held liable for any fees/charges which the buyer may incur as a result of accepting delivery of the goods ordered.
WARRANTIES
fanfairUk makes no warranty in respect of any products or service advertised by fanfairUk on this website.
PAYMENT AND TITLE OF PRODUCTS
The full price for ordered products must be paid and cleared prior to despatch, unless previous arrangements have been made. All orders must be paid for in Pounds Sterling, and in the case of payment by cheque, drawn on a bank account located within the United Kingdom. In the event of payment by cheque or BACS payment into our allocated business account, no order will be dispatched until said payment has been cleared with the bank.
In the event of a failure by the buyer to pay for the products, then title to the products shall remain with fanfairUK until such time as payment in full is received. fanfairUK reserve the right to retake possession of the products in the event of non-payment.
All bespoke orders pertaining to VINYL IMPRINTING™ AND DIRECT PRINTING are subject to a 50% deposit on confirmation of your order by YOU the customer. Should you cancel your bespoke order, fanfairUk reserves the right to retain your deposit and under no circumstances shall said deposit be refundable. fanfairUk retains this deposit to cover all charges for costs of labour, materials and administrative costs incurred.
Any such products or part of products so re-possessed may be re-sold without notice to the buyer and without prejudice to our right to claim damages against the buyer for any losses or expenses incurred, save that the proceeds of such sale shall be set off against any sums due from the buyer in respect of the products.
fanfairUK reserve the right at any time to charge interest on late payments with effect from the due date and on a day to day basis at a compound annual rate of 4% above Bank of Scotland base lending rate from time to time.
In the event that the buyer fails to make payment for the products or fails to take delivery of any of the products supplied by us, then all sums outstanding in respect of any products supplied by fanfairUK shall if not already paid in full become due and payable immediately and fanfairUK may in its absolute discretion and without prejudice to any other rights, suspend all future deliveries of the products to the buyer under the contract in question or under any other contract and/or terminate any such contract(s) without liability upon our part; and/or require payment of interest on all amounts due at a compound annual rate of 4% above Bank of Scotland base lending rate for the time being prevailing from the date when payment for the products in question became due to the date of actual payment.
The following methods are available to pay for fanfairUk products:
- on line credit card transaction;
- cheque, BACS payment or Postal order(subject to �5 administrative fee)
In each case fanfairUK will ensure that your order and any payment information you provide is kept private and confidential. fanfairUK will not retain any customer information beyond that reasonably necessary to confirm your order, dispatch the products and trace the delivery. fanfairuk does not supply customer information to third parties other than as specifically stated herein (i.e. to enable the carrier to deliver the products).
Where the buyer is using the online payment method, fanfairuK uses a recognised online credit payment agency that has secure server software encryption to keep your transaction private and protected. Paying by this method will require the buyer to visit another website domain. fanfairUK accepts no responsibility and shall not be liable for errors or omissions on the part of the credit payment agency which result in the disclosure of confidential information, loss, expense or damage howsoever arising to the buyer. It is the responsibility of the buyer to read the terms of business of the credit payment agency before using the service.
DELIVERY AND RISK IN THE PRODUCTS
Standard Delivery within the UK will normally be made within 4 to 5 working days of dispatch. fanfairUK will normally dispatch an order within 1 working day of the order being confirmed and payment being received. fanfairUK can arrange for products to be dispatched and delivered within 48 hours of an order being placed at a premium charge. fanfairUK can also arrange for Same Day Delivery, subject to conditions and at a premium charge.
Delivery within the EC will normally be made within 5 to 10 working days of dispatch. fanfairUk will normally dispatch an order within 1 working day of the order being confirmed and payment being received.
Delivery to anywhere else in the world will normally be made within 12 working days of an order being confirmed and payment being received.
For EC and overseas deliveries, the buyer is regarded as the importer of record. The buyer may therefore be subject to additional charges duties and/or taxes which will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. fanfairUK is not responsible for any additional cost or expense incurred by the buyer save as are specifically included within the delivery charge or as otherwise provided for herein.
Delivery charge rates will vary from time to time.
fanfairUK shall not be liable for delay or failure to deliver products promptly if such failure arises due to force majeure or by reason of any delays occasioned by strikes, riots, lockouts or other labour trouble, war, fire, accident, mechanical failure, non-availability to fanfairUK of manufactured stock, parts, or materials; delay or failure of delivery of the products to fanfairUK by manufacturers suppliers or other persons; government action, legislation or regulation of any kind; Acts of God, or any circumstances whatsoever outside our reasonable control.
CANCELLATION
Orders can be cancelled but on plain coloured fans ONLY. ‘CREATE YOUR OWN FAN’, VINYL IMPRINTING, DIRECT PRINTING, PLAIN and PERSONALISED WEDDING FAN services are EXEMPT from this rule as they are bespoke items, requested and paid for by YOU the customer.
Should you wish to cancel your order of PLAIN COLOURED FANS a £5 administration fee will be charged and you will be refunded the cost of your order minus this amount. If your order was less than £5 you will not receive a refund. fanfairUK will action your refund within 2 working days of you notifying us of your cancellation.
Please note that due to various banks procedures it may take up to an additional 8 working days before the funds appear in your account.
LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
fanfairUK’s responsibility for loss or damage in transit will be limited to replacing the damaged products or providing a refund, which ever the buyer prefers.
GOVERNING LAW
The construction, validity and performance of these Conditions of Sale and of any agreement that exists between fanfairUk and the buyer shall be governed in all respects by English Law. In any dispute with fanfairUK regarding these Conditions of Sale or the supply of products to the buyer, the parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
BESPOKE WEDDING FANS – delivery in the UK & Abroad:
Please be aware that if you provide us with incorrect details pertaining to delivery either in the UK or abroad and this results in the designated postal service being unable to deliver your order in time for your wedding/event, that NO refund will be given under ANY cirucumstances.
No refund will be given under any circumstances if you inform us that an order has to be sent on a given date to be received either in the UK or abroad and upon doing so your order does not arrive in time. All goods sent will be sent in time and according to your requirements and once posted in the UK we are not liable for loss or damage or failure to deliver or late delivery outside the UK. Loss or damage of orders in the UK will be investigated through the Royal Mail and dealt with appropriately. If you wish to use a courier of your choice this is possible at an additonal charge.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY:
We are not liable for loss or damage or failure to deliver or late delivery outside the UK. If this does happen you will have to claim for the damaged/lost items personally.
CHECKING YOUR ORDER:
Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to check their order fully upon arrival. On very rare occasions errors may occur, after all we are only human. If on checking the order should you find any errors or indescrepancies, the customer must contact LESLEY WEBSTER within 24hrs of receiving the goods. Any error will be corrected or refunded on return of the incorrect fans. All fans must be returned via registered first class mail. Refunds will be given at the descretion of the management should you fail to check your order and discover at a later date that there are discrepancies.
RETURNS:
We will only accept returns and issue refunds or offer an exchange on faulty goods. Under circumstances where the goods have arrived late but have been posted well in advance and we hold proof of postage on your order, we cannot be held responsible for delay in postal services at any given time under any circumstances.
FREE FANS:
When placing an order please be aware that the ‘free’ fans will be those we have in surplus stock and may not necessarily be the same as those you have ordered. This applies to both the plain coloured fans and the plain wedding fans. However, if you order the personalised wedding fans the free fans will be the same as those you have ordered.
No exhange or refunds will be given under any circumstances if your order arrives and the free plain coloured or plain wedding fans are not matching your preferred/ordered colour. (see ‘Returns’ policy) Refunds are only given on faulty or damaged goods.
The buy 4 get 1 free offer on the personalised fans, the free fans are subject to a P&P charge for each free fan. This will be at a cost of 40p/fan.
Hours of Business:
Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri: 9 – 6pm. Wed – closed. Orders made by 3pm (plain fans) are posted same day. Orders after 3pm but on the same day will be posted the next morning.
